Andrew Mills is a writer, director and editor. Based in Sydney, Australia, he has a decade of experience working for some of Australia’s most popular entertainment programs and streaming services.
He has extensive television experience, writing for The Cheap Seats (Working Dog Productions) on Network 10, having worked on the show since its inception. He has also worked as a Producer for The Project’s (Network 10) comedy segments.
He was the co-writer, director and editor of the acclaimed series 'Internment' funded by Screen Australia and VicScreen, and broadcast on streaming service 9Now.
Andrew co-wrote and directed sketches for ‘The Slot’ on streaming service Binge, produced by Princess Pictures. He also co-wrote and directed sketches as part of the ABC’s ‘Freshblood’ initiative in 2017, broadcast on ABC TV and ABC iview.
His short films have played at Flickerfest, St Kilda Film Festival and Queer Screen, and he won the 2022 Audience Choice Award at MQFF.
